The Tea Cozy

My friend has this tea cozy she purchased in a dime store in Ireland several years ago. She has used it a lot and not washed it, and over time it's starting to show it's wear and tear. When I saw it, I thought it was quite wonderful!

It's funny how life throws these little things at you. I see potential for these to be newly crafted in a sculptural and beautiful way. I'm excited about it.

I took measurements and created a pattern for it.

Now, let's see where it takes me.
